Hey guys, my puppy tore up a couple areas of my carpet! Now that’s she’s a bit older and theoretically knows not to tear up carpets I thought I’d finally get to repairing.
This is the type of carpet I have:

I’m a bit worried its going to show a very obvious seam because of the type of carpet.
I bought some seam tape (that says no iron needed), and have ordered in a length of carpet as close as I can get to match. My plan is to use closet carpet for the patches, and then patch the closet with the new stuff.
Any tips on how to do this? Should I rent a seam iron even though the tape says it’s not necessary? Or just make my cuts as clean as possible, throw on the seam tape and let it ride?
Thanks!
