Advice on fixing a chip starting on the bottom of my bedroom door.

I just noticed that there is a chip starting at the bottom of my bedroom door and I’d really like to fix it. I have no idea what I’m doing and I don’t really have any experience with this sort of thing. I’ve posted a picture below, it seems fairly minor, but I don’t want to make it worse. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance for your help!
