2 hour DIY project. 1. Completely disassemble a working gaming headset down to the control board, speakers, microphone and 3.5mm port. 2. Remove all wires from control board. 3. Solder new wire around 8in long for right left speakers and microphone, heat shrink the soldered connections. 4. Disassemble helmet removing all the wireing and head set. 5. Remove helmet speakers and replace with the headset speakers, feed headset speaker wires in the hosing, solder speaker wires together. 6. Run microphone wire and zip tie to existing microphone. Mount the control board and 3.5mm port on the rear with hot glue or nut and bolt. 6. Run wires and adhere them with electrical tape. 7. Reinstall helmet padding and the speaker hosings are just Velcroed inside.
