I had my room fitted with new furniture, Paint and carpet about a year ago and recently I've noticed one of the floorboards has raised up about 10 milimetres. It's right in the middle of the room and not only is it visible raised but it creaks when its stepped on so it's pretty annoying. there is also furniture surrounding it so I would have to remove a lot of stuff to lift all of the carpet. Is there an easy way to only take up some of the carpet to get to the area I need to get to to fix it?
