Painting cabinet drawers.

I'm in the process of re- doing my kitchen cabinets. I am starting on the drawers and was wondering what people would suggest I do here.

I've read mixed opinions that some people paint the inside of the drawers and some do not. Is there any benefit to either of these methods?
