I am looking to redo my countertops and have been comparing some quartz alternatives to granite countertops. The cheaper price for Quartz makes it hard to say no to, especially because it doesn't look any different to me. Are there any quality differences anybody has noticed, that has installed it?
I also have found that the products are sourced from around the world. Are any imports better for quartz or granite over others? The other week I was looking at two black granites that looked the same and the import was cheaper - but am I getting worse quality?
