Begginer restoration project? Knoll chairs

Hi all, I'm looking to upgrade my living room and in so I actually found some great chairs that look like a good time investment. Here is the link to some pictures

My question is how hard does it seem to recover the frame to a good level? Seller is stuck at $300 which if I can get it to look good is worth it. What process and tools should I be looking at. Sanding or heatgun, steel wool etc. Seems like a fun project. I would certainly document it and post here.
