My kitchen had plastic tiles on the wall. I popped them off to replace them and there is a lot of hard glue left on the wall. I've tried using an oscillating power tool with a rigid scraper and it takes 15 minutes to do 8 square inches. This is on a plaster wall, otherwise I'd just tear out and replace drywall. What is the best method to do this? Google suggests a heat gun but that seems super slow as well. Can I just spread tile cement on top of all this and not worry about it? It would just be a little thicker backing. https://imgur.com/a/i4B41yp
