Hello. I am a relatively new homeowner, and have never done anything more than fixing nail holes in walls before. There is a wall in my basement that is unfinished. It happens to be my drum corner, where I'd like to be able to properly hang the posters and such. I want to teach myself how to finish it and put the drywall up. I like the finite space to teach myself, because it's just what's seen in the pic, and nothing too overwhelming.
(Note, I am only including a pic so that people can see what would be needed to complete this project)
Would any kind souls who already know what they're doing throw out any pointers, tips, or recommendations, please? Am I assuming correctly that it has to be: Insulation, drywall, Spackle, prime, paint, done?
I am grateful for any helpful advice.
