I have a sunroom that was built as an addition to our house before we bought it. I’m having an issue with an exterior light just outside of the door...it’s not getting any power. The light switch just inside the door (I’m 99% sure this is what controls the light) also is not getting any power. Everything else in the room is functioning as it should and no breakers are tripped. I’m assuming the supply wires to the switch are not connected to wherever source they are being ran from, hence no power to the switch or light. The problem is I have checked the other switches, lights, fans, and outlets in the room hoping to locate where this switch is being ran off of with no luck. Does anyone have any tips on finding out where these wires are being ran to without having any power to them? I’m on the verge of just pulling them out of the wall and rewiring them altogether. Thanks in advance!
