Master bathroom DWV layout

I'm planning on adding a double sink vanity, shower, and toilet to my upstairs to complete a master suite. In planning a previous bathroom layout I recall reading somewhere about a preferred method for tying toilet drains in to the DWV system relative to where the shower and sinks tye in.

Is there a recommended location the shower and sink drains should tie into the main stack? Before or after the toilet? Should the toilet be the last tip of the branch? Or closest to the main stack?

Advice on fixing a chip starting on the bottom of my bedroom door.

I just noticed that there is a chip starting at the bottom of my bedroom door and I’d really like to fix it. I have no idea what I’m doing and I don’t really have any experience with this sort of thing. I’ve posted a picture below, it seems fairly minor, but I don’t want to make it worse. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance for your help!

HELP! GREMLINS!

I really dont even know how to explain how this is happening or where to ask for help, but I hope I am posting in the right place.

I recently leased a building for a second location to our meager business. We built everything out, lots of ups and downs but finally everything was running smoothly. Until today.

I get here about 9, turn everything on go about my opening routine when all of the sudden my computer shuts off. I look around and notice the commercial coffee maker is also off. I go into the utility room and I hear a click clack click clack and notice a definite purpose controller cycling. It's old, and i dont know why it would cause half my store to lose power, but i figure it cant hurt to replace it. I replace it, and switch power back on and nothing. Circuits still dont have power. Now here is where it gets weird.

I turn the coffee machine back on, which is on it's own 2 pole 50 amp breaker in the box with a dedicated 4 prong plug, and all of the circuits kick back on but start flickering. I turn the coffee machine off and half the store goes dark. I figured maybe the breaker was wired incorrectly and causing feedback so I REMOVED THE WIRES AND THE 50AMP BREAKER from the box, and now none of the circuits that were dead will work.

HELP! How can a breaker that isnt even connected to these circuits stop them from working? I'm at my wits end!

How can this old electrical box have all the breakers removed but still feed many live outlets and lights? How can I disconnect this box in a series of 3?

This old house has several electrical boxes in a series. The third box in the series (last photo) one has all the circular fuses removed but still is feeding many live outlets and lights in a section of the house.

How can I remove this third box in the series so I can remove the BX cable and remove existing wiring? I will eventually upgrade to a 200 amp system and new box but I am going one section at a time.

I know I might need a electrician, I am just trying to understand what is happening here. All fuses have been removed but the box is still feeding many live outlets and lights.

Help with masonry install

Hopefully I can explain this properly! I purchased a slate plaque with our house number, but the plaque is installed on standoffs/risers. Wood screws are included (to secure the standoff to the wall) but I'm installing this into brick. After some googling on how to install on brick, I tried to find masonry screws to replace the wood screws, but none of them fit inside the standoff. The screw fits, but all have heads that are too large to go through. I have no idea how to proceed. Here's an image of the setup.

If you’re building a brand new house, and you want to reduce the risk that a home defense gun will over penetrate through a wall or floor, can one design walls and floors with metal inserts to stop bullets?

if you are concerned about stray bullets going through dry wall or through a floor/ceiling and hitting a family member, can one design a house so that there is space planned out for solid metal to be in the walls or floor/ceiling?

is that feasible or it’d be impossible to run electrical/gas/water through things?
