Hello smart folks. I have built a lithium battery to replace the dead lead acid on my ebike. The original was 24volt. Mt replacement is also 24 volts. the bike turns on but when I twist the throttle the bike excelerated for 1 sec and then loses all power. If I turn the bike off and on again it powers back up but the problem persists. Im thinking that the new battery has more amps and is tripping a breaker.
Questions.
Is there a way to reduce the current from the battery to something the bike can handle?
Can I remove the breaker without a meltdown?
An help would be appreciated.
