Just as the title says. I’m supposed to be drilling 1” holes into 1/8” thick steel. I’m using a Milwaukee bi metal hole saw with a 3/8 arbor pilot bit on my drill press (Wen 4210). The arbor bit goes through no problem but the hole saw fails to get the job done. In 10 minutes I’ve gone halfway through one hole, with loud rubbing the whole way and virtually no cutting. I think the issue is the hole saw is spinning clockwise in the opposite direction of the angle of the teeth. I can’t reverse my drill press (Wen 4210) and I have no idea what to do.
