Last night I was fastening down hardiebacker board with cement board screws and my star bit snapped, it was too late to go out and buy another, all I had on hand was drywall nails, so in an effort to still fasten down the board that's what I used. I don't think these nails are corrosion resistant, so....how screwed is this floor? Can I/should I put screws in after the cement is dried?
