I am trying to create a wall panel effect on my bedroom wall as a feature. I have chosen 9mm plywood over mdf. I had the strips cut to size and left them to acclimatise, I sanded and painted them all black. I’m definitely a beginner so have chosen to use gorilla grab over finishing nails into a partitioned wall. I have seen many posts of people using adhesive with success, however my wood just doesn’t seem to hold. It says it has “ultra high strength, withstand extreme temperatures and grab virtually anything!” It’s driving me mad - any suggestions appreciated?!!
