I have three doors with locking knobs and deadbolts. The key will turn the knob if it’s inserted while unlocked but won’t actually unlock the knob or the deadbolt. I’m not sure why, but that’s the situation. Can I use a rekeying kit like this https://www.menards.com/main/hardware/door-window-hardware/security-entry-door-hardware/rekeying-kit-for-6-kwikset-door-locks/kwikset100/p-1444426383745-c-7581.htm (they’re either kwickset or slage brand or something common like that) or do I need to replace them?
