I am working on refinishing a table my dad built in the late 70s. It is oak with walnut accents but I don't know what finish he used. I have stripped the table and have started sanding. The table will eventually be used as a coffee table. What is the recommended finish? I have been looking at tung oil, rub on polyurethane, or brush on polyurethane.
