combination LB box question to EV charger question the Mods shouldnt have removed

The fact of the matter is that I have done research on the LB box connections! It took a lot of research to even determine that was the best option! Like a lot of tradesmen knowledge there are not videos or guides on it that I can find. It is easy enough to figure out if you have it all in hand, but this isnt normal Home Depot stuff I have to order it.

I have been told/read that Rigid conduit frequently has the threads cut right into it like black iron, which woulds be beyond my abilities. Thanks to a helpful response I got before you removed my post it sounds like it will work so Ill try ordering the parts.

Protest!

Hello!

I am installing an EV charger on my building. 50 Amp Breakers 6/3 wire with 10 gauge ground. Inside I am running 3/4" EMT. Outside for a short distance I will run 3/4" rigid. I need to make a right angle where the conduit exits the building.

I am thinking I should put in a combination LB box to make this 90 and to transition from EMT to rigid rather than just bending the conduit.

Will the threads of a compression connector for 3/4" rigid thread into the box or do I have to actually thread the conduit?

Is the EMT end of it also threaded and how do I connect to that?

Is there a better way to do this?
