I want to convert an indoor light fixture from being hardwired to having a regular plug. The light fixture has a regular lamp-type wire coming off it and then a separate exposed ground wire running along side it. Can I just cut the ground wire off and wire it to a regular 2-prong lamp plug? Do I need to use a 3-prong plug with the ground wire? It's something like this.... [link] [comments] |
