Electrical for installing a outside-vented range hood.

Just bought a house - typical seventies wood frame bungalow in Canada. I would like to install an outside-vented range hood. There is currently no range hood at all, and the stove is on an outside wall, so in one respect it should be an easy job - just vent it straight out the wall. But what about the electrical? Are there any tricks for powering the unit without ripping out all the kitchen cabinets and drywall to run power? The fridge is on the same wall and there is an outdoor plug below the stove area, and there'll be 220 V electrical for the stove. There are no counter-top plugs on that wall. The basement below the kitchen area is finished as well. The electrical panel is at the opposite end of the house.
