Hi all... Recently rented a new house and the ceiling fan in the master bedroom is extremely wobbly/noisy. Took it down to see what's going on and found that the mounting screws onto the outlet box were what was wobbling around. I'm worried that this wasn't installed properly and/or those wobbly screws damaged the mounting box... Possibly because this box isn't meant to support a fan.
Unfortunately I can't find any labels on it that say it is made to support a ceiling fan like more modern ones do... And I can't crawl up into the attic because I don't fit in the small space up there. It's a fairly old house that was remodeled in the 90s...and the drywall is crumbly as hell including in the ceiling.
Here's a link to the potential offending outlet box: https://i.imgur.com/gZdkXX8.jpg
Please let me know if you need additional information or clarification.
