Question on installing pet door.

Hey guys,

I need help deciding if I should insert a pet door on the flyscreen (outer door) or the timber (inner) door.

For clarity, the flyscreen door is some kind of thin metal from waist height down (and normal netting from the waist up).

As I'm writing this a thought came to mind about the effectiveness of using a jigsaw on metal.
