Recently I disassembled the window regulator on my car due to the window beeing stuck closed and noticed that the window suport bracket was in pretty bad shape
I sanded the big chunks of loose rust and aplied a liquid rust converter. after 24 hours the rust turned black and the bracket was covered in a translucid film. I then lightly wire brushed the piece and applied a anti rust primer.
The thing is, it looks like the primer didn't really stick to the piece that well, and I'm wondering if I was supposed to sand the bracket to bare metal after the rust conversion did it's thing
