5.5ft x 25” oak end grain lightly oiled butcher block has a cup, about 3/8” max (slight, but enough to notice)...do I A. Kerf cut the convex side to relax it (how many/how deep?) B. Take it to the lumber yard to see if they’ll plane it flat and hope it’s stopped cupping C. Buy a new piece
Used for a counter piece, can’t do the angle iron trick because not enough space beneath. Base cabs are not strong enough to tie it flat, as they are. I appreciate any input, thanks Reddit!
