For my first year studio in design college, I am creating a light fixture and I need a way to fasten flashlights to a metal beam. I have 3 lights, and there will one on both ends and a third in the middle. These will be on an 8 foot metal rod (approximately 1 inch in diameter). The problem I am facing is that there are several ways to fasten the lights, but I need a fastener that will allow me a) to turn all the lights downward at a 20 degree angle, and b) allow me to turn the lights on the edges inward by 58 degrees. Basically, I need a fastener or a makeshift fastener that can allow me to angle in different directions, be that up or down. How could this be done? Any help is appreciated.
