Paint off of leaded glass

So I live in a building built in 1920. Some jerk tagged one of my front windows through iron security bars. Looks like white paint pen. My question is what is best way to remove it? It’s OG leaded glass. Don’t want to fuck it up. Do I go solvent or straight edge?
