Stretch of copper pipe has pinhole leaks, any reasonable alternatives to just replacing the copper?

I didn't do a good job of manage the pH of my catchment system, and now have a 2-3 ft stretch of copper pipe that has about eight pinhole leaks. I don't know why the other pipes don't have a problem and this one does, but I gotta fix it [ I've already started working on the pH problem].

Is there a reasonable alternative? PEX with those magic fittings?
