I’m attempting to build a basic drum with a guitar jack output. Currently the project lists a 5 mega ohm pot, but I’m only able to get 1m.
It’s currently just vibration sensor/mic>1m ohm potentiometer>1/4 socket. It works fine but is a bit noisey.
What difference could I expect a 5mega ohm linear rotary pot to make? Can I imitate that using resistors before or after the pot?
