DIY Request

HELP!

Had a contractor come in and tile my bathroom shower. Looks great. BUT!!! The holes that were drilled into the porcelain tile to accommodate for the stems (hot water, cold water, spout, diverter) are off center which will not let me get the stems out. Contractor has vanished and can’t get a hold of him. What do I do? I definitely do not want to break the tile off the wall because there is no extra tile left. I thought “ok just buy a diamond tipped hole saw for tile and since the center of the hole saw is hollow the stems will go through the center and you can drill out the proper hole.” So I bought one. But because the stems are all on it doesn’t reach the tile, it bottoms out. It’s almost like a need a deep well socket type hole saw.
