Trying to remove a nut on a screw but screw turns with nut. How do I remove the nut?

I'm trying to remove the tail light on my car and its held by 3 screws secured by 11mm nuts. I've been able to remove two 11mm nuts with a deep socket wrench no problem. The third one, the screw turns as I try to remove the nut, and the nut remains in place.

I've tried holding the screw in place and using an adjustable wrench, and WD40 on the nut, and the nut is still stuck. How do I get rid of the nut?
