I have this make up mirror but don't really have a table to put it on because I just moved into a space where the area is small and adding a table just isn't feasible. I just need suggestions or direction because my research hasn't come up with anything workable. I'll try to keep to bullet points so the information is easier to break down.
Project: Construct a swivel arm or a swing out arm of some kind to mount to a wall. The arm will attach to the back of the mirror. Materials / Design: Any materials that can get the job done. I really need more function than aesthetics. Mirror Info: - ABS Plastic - 18" x 9.3" x 1.5" (not including the base) - Light Weight ~ 3lbs - Sits on a 5.5" base with a screw back hinge which can be unscrewed to mount to a backing piece connected to the end of the diy arm. Requirements: Needs to be able to either pull out or swing out so that when not in use, it can rest flat against the wall. Wall Info: 3/4" Thick Plaster Wall Alternative Solution: A shelf it can sit on instead, that connects back to the same arm concept.
I have pictures below of the front and back of the mirror and also a picture of the swivel arm mirror concept inspiration.
Thank you! Photos
