Moved into house with loose handles on shower. Trying to figure out the right ones to replace them with

The internet says to check the brand of the previous handles when replacing them, but these are obviously the wrong ones. They don’t fit. picture

I don’t have the plumbing skills to replace the parts underneath. How do I figure out which handles to buy that would actually fit?
