Screen repair

I know how to replace the screen itself. The problem is this screen/storm door has a sliding window that covers the screen when in the down position. But even in the "up" position, the sliding window covers the top of the screen. Does anyone know how to remove the pane the screen is on or remove the sliding window to get at the screen?
