So I assumed that I should backfill the 22 deck piers that I have before calling for an inspection.... maybe I just cost myself a huge headache?????
I only say this because a buddy of mine just told me the same inspector made his contractor dig out the backfill from the 3 tubes he had and my stomach dropped.
He’s coming tomorrow... so we will see what happens... but this seems silly since you can easily look down the tube with a measuring tape to see if they are deep enough?!
I looked at the IRC and cannot find a thing.....
