My goal here is to log my HVAC system’s total static pressure and pressure drop across the filter. I’m hoping this can give me a better idea of when I should change the filter, and if there are other issues with the system.
According to https://www.energystar.gov/sites/default/files/specs/National%20Comfort%20Institute%20-%20Measure%20and%20Interpret%20Static%20Pressures.pdf it looks like I can simply stick some pressure seonsors at strategic locations in my HVAC system and add/subtract the values accordingly. Typicallly this seems to be done with manometer, so I feel like I’m missing some piece of the puzzle here...
