Flooring suggestion

Currently trying to pick what kind of flooring we need for our unfinished basement

Top contender is "Luxury Vinyl Plank" But there's a lot of options here

What thickness of plank is necessary for a bar/entertainment area? Do I the planks need to have padding? What is the benefits of having it vs the cons without? Tips for installation? (Going directly over poured concrete)

If there a flooring that I should consider what is it why would you choose it over LVP
