Curious about any ramifications of using an aluminum stock pot as a fire pit

I have been getting advertised for the Solo Stove Bonfire like crazy lately and it had me thinking about using a really large stock pot to make a normal firepit. I understand the Solo Stove has more technology built into it but I can get a 80qt aluminum stock pot locally for well under $50. Anything I am not taking into consideration on this?
