Advice needed with attaching ledger board to non-flush foundation wall

Hi there, hopefully someone can help with this question. I finally got my deck materials in and noticed before the day was over that the wall protrudes out around the frame of the sliding door (almost an inch or so).

Realistically, I'm looking for the best way to approach this. I have thought of a few options:

Do I attach it to the house with shims in between (to allocate for that space) and then put a metal flashing over it to cover the gap between the deck and the house?

Do I channel the lumber so that it allocates for that protrusion along with the first deck board?
